SUPER EASY scribble, scrawl, doodle effect – Adobe After effects tutorial

https://youtube.com/watch?v=cu9bq7Hdkg0

Today we are going to play around after effects And we’re creating this awesome scribble effect. You can use this effect in music or dance video Or maybe a sports video. However, there are many possibilities in this sense. Let’s jump straight in after effects and have some fun. Inside after effects We will first create a new configuration By right-clicking on the video file and select the new configuration.

Now, we have the configuration But we need to edit within the video layer. Double click on it to open it in a new window. You can see by name the move That we are now inside the video layer. Next, we’ll select the Brush tool You can find it here or you can use Ctrl + B to enable it. We’ll change the settings For the Brush tool on the inside tab Paint and Brushes. If you do not see these steps You may need to activate it first within the window menu. Here, you need to make sure that the brushes And paint is enabled like this. Well, go back to the paint controls. First, I’ll choose the color I am going to pick white for this one Then, make sure that the duration is set to one frame. That’s because we’re going to paint on each frame separately.

Then inside the Brushes tab We choose brush size and hardness. You can preview the brush size If you place the mouse pointer inside the screen window. For example, I think we’re going to use a hard 13 pixel round. After that, I will skip the schedule And find a point where we want to add this effect. Yes, I think this will do. We can now simply use the brush tool And paint on this one frame with our mouse. For this one, we’re going to add a little lightning effect As I mentioned, we need to do this framework by frame. That means we need to switch a lot between frames.

You can do this easily by hitting the page up and page key down. First, I’ll go back to the previous window And see where I drew the line This will be used as a starting point for the next framework. I’ll do the same steps for the next couple of frames So the drawing is out the window. I used the brush tool on four or maybe five frames This is the result. As I saw, do not need a lot of frames or very fine work You can easily create something wonderful and fun. Let’s quickly do another example. I will skip some frames Then we’ll draw around his legs. I’ll start by drawing a short line Which will stretch each frame. After a few frames I will also change the line position. It doesn’t have to be very accurate But it will take some time to do this effect. That’s why I will rush this part to keep everything short and concise. This is the last frame for this effect. I will zoom out and let’s run.

As you can see, it’s a perfect match with the previous Scribble effect. Now that we have reached that, let’s do another one. How about hand clap behind this back. Let’s take that. Because he’s behind his back. I’m going to draw lines next to it not through it. I’m going to draw a circle that expands with each frame. Here too, it doesn’t have to be very accurate. I think that’s the magic of this effect. This one takes only a few frames I think about four will do. I think that’s enough now. Let’s do a run. You guys really want me to do another one? Okay, let’s do that.

-Yay. , I’ll take this frame for the next effect. I will simply draw three lines We will call this one the Wolverine effect. In the following frames, we’ll add the same fonts But in another position a little longer And voila, Scrabble effect is coming. That’s it for this tutorial. Thank you so much.
